This Blog is about Michael, and the foundation created in his memory.
It has evolved to also remember his two siblings, Scott and Jennifer, that have since followed him beyond this life into whatever is next

Mike Chaloupka graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2008 in Management
Information Systems. Mike faced many challenges in life (he lived life
in a wheelchair) but was never one to complain or think about taking the
easy road. After graduation, rather than pursue more lucrative jobs, he
decided to work in a campus ministry called InterVarsity Christian
Fellowship. Mike was to serve as a campus lay minister, helping other
students who faced challenges in life.
His employers were amazed by his maturity and his tenacity to care for
and love those who needed it most, but looked for it the least. Mike was
set to work at UW-Whitewater starting in the fall of 2008. On August
26th, Mike was on his way to provide training to student volunteers in
InterVarsity, when he was struck by a car in a crosswalk. He later died
of his injuries on September 9th. While we mourn the loss of Michael –
we were so very proud of the life he lived and the man of integrity he
had become.

Scott Lee Chaloupka, 28, of Waukesha, passed away at his home, Oct. 6, 2014. Scott was born in Waukesha on April 16, 1986, wonderful son of James and Julie (Roose) Chaloupka. He graduated from Waukesha North High School and was currently attending MATC seeking a degree in computer programming.
