Well it's Fall.
It's the slower time of the year for Michaels Helping Hands. The Auction is over, most of the awesome customers/donors/sponsors have received their items. All that's left is the thank-you cards now.
Since those take time to get out, I want to thank every one of you for a very successful auction event this year. Those that bid, those that bought, those that donated, and those that just clicked and had a look around alike we appreciate you and yours. We brought in just shy of our $5000 goal at currently just over $4300. I'll keep you informed when we donate this on to other organizations.
What I wanted to share today is an update on Mike's Garden. It's been a minute since we've shared any pictures of the angel bush that the Strzyzewski Family gave us to plant in Mike's memory. It is huge with tons of blossoms. I have some pics of the Summer white blooms and the reddish fall colors that we see now.
I also have some pictures of my marigolds that keep the bunnies out of my garden and other things I wanted to share from Mike's Garden.
